Council profile
Shire of Yarra Ranges is divided into nine wards. There is a total of nine councillors.

O'Shannassy Ward includes Yarra Junction, Warburton and McMahons Creek. Chandler Ward includes Monbulk, Silvan, Macclesfield and Wandin North. Lyster Ward includes Belgrave, Kalista and The Patch. Streeton Ward includes parts of Kilsyth, Olinda and Mount Dandenong. Walling Ward includes part of Kilsyth. Melba Ward includes parts of Mooroolbark and Lilydale. Billanook Ward includes part of Mount Evelyn, and Chirnside Ward includes part of Chirnside Park.
